Michael Berrin, better known as MC Serch, is a rapper, music executive, and producer from the United States. He was also a member of Non-Phixion and 3rd Bass in the past. Serch has built an empire and made a name for himself in the music industry, but he owes it all to his wife, Chantel Berrin.

MC Serch and Chantel Berrin have been in a relationship since 1988. After four years of dating, they married in 1992. The couple’s love was so strong that Berrin converted to Judaism in order to marry the rapper. Berrin revealed in a 1993 interview that she converted to another religion because she wanted to, not because she was forced to.
Serch grew up in an orthodox Jewish neighborhood in Queens, New York, according to his website. As a result, it is not surprising that his family is religiously conservative.

Berrin’s decision to convert was motivated by the fact that the couple couldn’t have a religious wedding because he was Jewish and she wasn’t. Serch married her anyway.
‘It’s actually quite funny. As contemporary as my family is — being active in hip-hop and in an interracial marriage — we happen to be very traditional when it comes to Judaism.”
Marriage is sacred and “a big deal” in Judaism, so Berrin converted in order to have a religious wedding and respect her husband’s religion.
Despite being together for 33 years, the couple is still in love. Serch frequently uploads photos of the two, expressing his love for his wife. On the occasion of his wife’s birthday on December 28, 2013, he said he owed everything to her in an Instagram post.
The rapper then admitted, via a heartfelt caption, that he would be a far less human being. Berrin was not there to support the rapper. He also stated that his wife provided him with a compass and unconditional love even when he did not deserve it. He praised her for caring for her and providing stability for their three children while he neglected himself and was absent.
Furthermore, he referred to her as a “superstar” and a “bigger star” than he ever could be. He wished his wife nothing but the best and hoped to “love and honor” her for the rest of his life.
He concluded the caption on a heartfelt note, thanking her for standing up for him, forgiving him, and sticking by him. So it’s safe to say that the couple will be together and close in the coming years.

Chantel Berrin and the rapper have three children. However, there is little information about them because the couple does not reveal much about their personal lives.
According to Berrin’s private Instagram profile picture, the couple has two daughters and a son. Mia, one of their daughters, is following in her father’s footsteps and working in the music industry.
She is the lead singer of the New York rock band Pom Pom Squad.
