Mr.Beast Announced That He Is Going To Give A Private Island To One Of His Subscribers

Mr.Beast

MrBeast, a YouTuber renowned for throwing outrageous giveaways and filming films that cost him billions of dollars, has become the platform’s second independent YouTuber to surpass 100 million followers. What did he do to commemorate the happy occasion? He revealed in a recent YouTube video that he would be giving away a private island to one fortunate subscriber who would be proclaimed the winner after a series of tasks. On August 1, 2022, the video was published. In this section, we look at what we know so far regarding the challenge.

MrBeast is giving away a private island…as well as $10,000 in cash!

A few days before announcing the offer, the YouTuber sent out a tweet that sparked his fans’ attention. He stated in his tweet:

“We’ve spent the whole year working on our 100 million subscriber special, and it’s my most costly and ridiculous video ever!” I can’t wait to get 100 million views and post this.”

On August 1, 2022, MrBeast made the long-awaited news. He disclosed in his YouTube Shorts video that instead of being the second independent YouTuber with over 100 million followers, he would be giving away a private island to one fortunate user.

MrBeast is heard stating in the video:

“I recently passed 100 million subscribers on YouTube, and I thought what better way to celebrate than to purchase a massive private island and then fly out a hundred random subscribers to fight for it?”

He went on to call the next video the “craziest” he’d ever made and revealed that it will be released on Thursday, August 4 at 4 p.m. ET. He went on to say that the first person to leave a comment on the video will receive $10,000. The YouTuber did not go into detail about how he picked the 100 random followers or what is anticipated to happen. However, a look at the video reveals that contestants may be required to create fire or swim as part of the task.

MrBeast has previously offered giveaways.

The island gift isn’t the only thing that’s cost the YouTuber a lot of money. Previously, he encouraged 200 random subscribers to compete for $500,000 in a “last one standing” contest. The video included 100 males and 100 girls, with the last person standing to win $500,000 for their whole team.

Subscribers and participants were put through a series of mini-challenges in the film. MrBeast’s channel features a slew of identical films, each of which has received over a million likes. His most popular upload, by far, is the Squid Game challenge. At the time of writing, the Squid Game video had 277 million views and 14 million likes. However, considering the excitement around his next video on Thursday, it is reasonable to predict that the number of likes and views on this new one will outnumber those generated by the Squid Game challenge. MrBeast is now on track to dethrone PewDiePie, the current YouTube king.
