Neilia drove directly into the path of the tractor-trailer, probably because her head was turned and she was unaware of the approaching truck. The four occupants of the vehicle were all transported to Wilmington General Hospital. Neilia and her daughter Naomi were confirmed dead upon arrival, but Beau and Hunter were both critically injured. Neilia and Naomi were interred in the St. Joseph section of Greenville, Delaware’s Brandywine Cemetery. She dies at the age of thirty.
