Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna Jr., better known as “Nikki Sixx,” was born in San Jose, California on December 11, 1958. His father abandoned the family when he was a child, and he was raised in part by his grandparents and his single mother, Deanna Richards. After a few years, his mother also abandoned him, and Nikki began living with his grandparents.
Nikki Sixx grew up listening to Deep Purple, Harry Nilsson, The Rolling Stones, and other bands. He moved around a lot when he first started living with his grandparents.
