Oleh Psiuk is a Ukrainian songwriter, singer, artist, and rap music expert. He is the frontman for the Kalush band (Kalush Orchestra). The war between Ukraine and Russia has been ongoing for more than two months, and many Ukrainian citizens have died as a result of the conflict.
Oleh, a Ukrainian musician, brought honor to his country by winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, which was held at Pal Alpitour in Turin, Italy between May 10 and 14, 2022. Career
Oleh started his career by forming his own band, Kalush, named after his hometown. On October 17, 2019, Oleh released his first band music video “Ne Marynul” on his band’s official YouTube channel. When the video for Oleh’s band’s second song was released on YouTube in November 2019, they were given the opportunity to work with the well-known American hip-hop label Def Jam Recordings.
Later in 2021, Oleh Psiuk was successful in releasing his band’s debut album “Hotin,” and he went on to release numerous songs and other albums. In 2021, he launched another project, Kalush Orchestra, which primarily focuses on rap songs with folk themes. Kalush Orchestra incorporated traditional music into their folk-inspired rap songs.
