When he was 12 years old, he began wrestling training with Steve “Psycho” Edwards at Phoenix Wrestling in Coventry. He made his debut as a wrestler against Mark Andrews at the Holbrooks Festival in 2007. His trainer at the time was Max Angelus, and he competed in minor local shows such as EDW Wrestling and Kamikaze Pro Wrestling. He competed as Tiger Kid to Helix at Riot Act Wrestling in Kent until January 2010. Then he stepped away from the character and adopted the name, Pete Dunne.

Every day, the wrestler began performing in a tag group with his kayfabe sibling, Damian. His international competitions have included LDN Wrestling, Dublin Championship Wrestling, Celtic Wrestling, Welsh Wrestling, Royal Imperial Wrestling, and PBW since 2011. His first appearance for Chikara occurred in September 2014, when he, his brother, and Mark Andrews, designated as “Team UK,” competed in the 2014 King of Trios. It reached the quarterfinals before being eliminated by The Devastation Corporation.

After a year, he returned to the 2015 King of Trios, from which he, Andrews, and Morgan Webster were barred by the United Nations.
