A Deleted Tweet sparked speculation about Jon Bellion’s wife

In October 2018, the Twitter handle @emilyhburgett claimed that a close friend of Bellion revealed to her that Bellion had been married since the beginning of 2018. The tweet was unremarkable in and of itself, but things turned interesting when Bellion replied to Emily’s tweet on October 17, 2018.

Bellion congratulated the user on solving the mystery and asked the readers to return to listening to music. The response, on the other hand, was difficult to predict. Because of the laughing emoji in the post, it was unclear whether the response was genuine or sarcastic.

Two days later, on October 19th, Bellion’s official YouTube channel released the song ‘Conversations With My Wife,’ Even reputable sources speculated that the rumors were true. The offending tweet has since been removed.

It turns out that Bellion is married, but the speculations were incorrect

It’s easy to see how the beliefs were formed. After all, the song is called ‘Conversations With My Wife.’ Even the song’s lyrics were widely interpreted to call into question the rapper’s spouse’s devotion to him.

At first, it appears that the artist is alluding to whether or not his wife would have the same feelings for him if he were not wealthy and famous. However, in an interview with Coup de Main magazine in 2019, Bellion revealed that the song was a message to his social media fans and followers. He compares ‘digital life’ to social media life.

He compared how social media is gradually draining energy away from real life, in that people get carried away comparing their lives to others. The American artist later ‘indirectly’ confirmed his marriage and discussed his wife’s importance in his life decisions.

Having said that, Bellion kept some details about his married life and wife private, such as his wife’s name and the date of his marriage, among other things.

The origins of Bellion’s “Conversations with My Wife.”

In the same interview with Coup de Main magazine, Bellion revealed that, like the lyrics, he wanted to flee the spotlight at one point when things became too much for him. In that case, the artist recalled his days touring for ‘The Human Condition’ album, during which he felt particularly depressed.

Regarding the Human Condition tour, Bellion stated that the album was doing so well and resonating with so many people that he was on three back-to-back tours, each one bigger than the last.

While the rapper’s touring days were intense and showed him a successful life, he was also the most unhappy he had ever been. He clarified this statement by stating that what he initially perceived as success was the opinions of others rather than his own.

He went on to say that while the world wanted him to grow, he wasn’t ready to operate on the same level just yet. “It’s not,” he replied, sparking the idea for ‘Conversations With My Wife.’ ‘Conversations With My Wife,’ according to Bellion, featured raw guitar rhythms and real instruments with “dirty drum-fill,” which was unlike his previous songs.

Furthermore, he revealed that the song was written in direct opposition to what people expected of him, an ‘anti-Jon Bellion,’ if you will and that it was more of a statement about building his career on his own terms.
