Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is considered terminating Sergio Ramos’s contract with the club. Ramos joined the French giants in the summer after a 15-year stint at Real Madrid. The Spaniard was expected to add depth to PSG’s defense, including Presnel Kimpembe and Marquinhos.

Sergio Ramos Injury  Became A Threat For French giants

On the other hand, Ramos has not appeared in a single game for the Parisians since his arrival four months ago. He hasn’t played an official match since Real Madrid’s 2-0 loss to Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League on May 5.

Sergio Ramos suffered tendonitis after that game and was sidelined until July. Following that injury, the 35-year-old developed calf issues that have kept him out of the game to this day.

PSG is seriously considering terminating Ramos’ contract, according to French media outlet Le Parisien (via Marca). His injury issues, they believe, are a stumbling block. If these fitness issues persist, the French giants believe parting ways with the Spaniard is no longer a ‘dystopian scenario.’

While the media has spoken, PSG has always been optimistic about Ramos’ return. After PSG’s 2-1 win over Lille on October 29, the club’s sporting director Leonardo said of Ramos:

“We know Ramos has had an injury. The Spanish press is playing games; we all knew he had a problem. We know what’s happening here.”

It is unclear whether Ramos will make his competitive debut for PSG in the coming months.
