Rian Craig Johnson was born on December 17, 1973, in Silver Spring, Maryland, from whence he eventually relocated to Denver, Colorado. He resided in Denver until sixth grade, when he relocated to San Clemente, California, to attend the public authority secondary school, San Clemente secondary school.
Following his graduation in 1992, he attended the College of Southern California, where he studied Artistic Expression before graduating from the USC School of True to life Expressions in 1996. His well-known picture, ‘Block,’ was filmed in large part in his former secondary school.
