West, a secret service agent, in the American Adventure series The Wild Wild West with Ross Martin from 1965 until 1969. As Bob Conrad, he has released a number of pop/rock tunes. On CRN Digital Talk Radio, he has conducted a weekly two-hour national radio show.

Robert Conrad Biography

 Robert Conrad was born in Chicago, Illinois. Conrad’s mother, Alice Jacqueline Hartman, was 15 years old when she gave birth to him, and his father, Leonard Henry Falk, was just barely 16 years old at the time. Jackie Smith, who served as the director of Mercury Records, was his mother. She married radio star Eddie Hubbard, with whom she had a kid, but the couple eventually divorced.

Conrad attended South Shore High School, Hyde Park High School, the YMCA Central School, and New Trier High School among others, but he left at the age of 15. In addition to loading trucks for Consolidated Freightways and Western Freightways and operating a milk delivery truck for Chicago’s Bowman Dairy, Conrad started living independently and working. He went to Northwestern University to study theater arts in order to become an actor. Dick Marx, the father of singer Richard Marx, served as his vocal instructor as he also studied singing.

Robert Conrad began acting in movies as soon as he arrived in California. In the 1958 films Juvenile Jungle and Thundering Jets, he had a part. As an actor, he signed a deal with Warner Bros, where he has released a number of pop and rock albums. After playing investigator Tom Lopaka in the television series Hawaiian Eye starting in 1959, he made headlines on the weekly adventure.

He got the part in the cult classic The Wild Wild West while pursuing a career in music. He enjoyed performing his own stunts for the part, which resulted in severe injuries.
