Ron Perlman Got Married To His Long Term Girlfriend Allison Dunbar

Ron Perlman has formally married his fiancée, StartUp co-star Allison Dunbar. The couple reportedly exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at Francis Ford Coppola’s home in Bernalda, Italy, Palazzo Margherita. Following their lovely Italian ceremony, the couple obtained an official marriage license in California. Dunbar formally announced their wedding on Instagram, where she uploaded a number of photographs and videos from the event. While announcing her own wedding, she made a reference to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s surprise wedding.

Ron Perlman, of Hellboy fame, commented on his newlywed wife’s post and wrote:

“Spring Has Indeed Sprung!!!”

Perlman and Dunbar approach the camera before slow-dancing to Frank Sinatra’s 1946 song You Make Me Feel So Young in the wedding film. Perlman wore a black suit with a blue shirt and a gold tie, while Dunbar wore a short, white, lacy dress with a white veil and high heels.

Allison Dunbar is a well-known American actress who has appeared in films such as 2 Broke Girls, StartUp, and Quick Draw. She grew up with her brother Christopher and was born to Wendy and Timothy Barron. Her mother was previously the Dean of the Villanova University School of Law, and her father was a Deputy Attorney General in Delaware. Dunbar was born in Delaware but came to New York at the age of 18 to seek a career as an actor.

The actress earned Magna Cum Laude from Fordham University with a degree in Theater and Psychology after finishing high school at St. Mark in Milltown. Following college, she worked in theaters such as The Judith Anderson, The Majestic, and The John Houseman Theater before joining The Groundlings, a prominent comedy company.

Dunbar made her acting debut in 1994 on an episode of Law & Order. Since then, she has been in a number of programs, including Body Shots, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Sopranos, Yellowstone, Castle, Rizzoli and Isles, The Mentalist, Modern Family, Criminal Minds, Bones, and CSI. The actress is also a burlesque dancer, well known for her Smokeshow burlesque show. Dunbar is said to frequent Harvelles in Santa Monica.

The wedding of Ron Perlman and Allison Dunbar follows the former’s divorce from his first wife, Opal Stone Perlman. After almost 38 years of marriage, the Hellboy actor filed for divorce from Opal in November 2019. Following their divorce, the actor was ordered to pay Opal $12,500 every month in perpetuity, $40,000 in legal expenses, and 20% of his yearly gross income.

Perlman and Opal’s surprising separation occurred soon after the former was caught kissing Dunbar outside a restaurant in California, according to Page Six. Opal and Ron Perlman have two children, daughter Blake and son Delroy. Allison Dunbar was formerly married to Sean O’Donnell, an ice hockey player with the Boston Bruins. The couple married in 2001 but divorced in 2004. In 2019, the former began seeing Ron Perlman and made their relationship public after the actor divorced his ex-wife that same year. The pair got engaged in 2020 and just married in Italy.
