Rudy Giuliani

Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York and a Republican politician, was recently slapped by an unknown person who was outraged with the Supreme Court’s abortion decision. On Sunday, Giuliani was visiting a grocery on Staten Island when the incident happened at 3.30 p.m. ET.

New York City police said that the individual had been caught, but his name remained unclear since the authorities did not divulge all of his information. He is apparently an employee at the business where the incident occurred and is charged with second-degree assault on a person over the age of 65.

A shop clerk assaulted Rudy Giuliani

Rudy Giuliani visited the shop to campaign for his son, Andrew, who is running for Governor of New York. Then an employee approached him and punched him in the back. According to investigators, the individual contacted Giuliani and asked, “What’s up scumbag?” Giuliani told a news station that he felt the strike on his back and was going to collapse.

As he put it,

“I feel this huge agony in my back and I’m wondering, what the – I have no idea what it is.” I hear this man yell, ‘You’re a f**king scumbag,’ and then he steps away so no one can catch him.”

Rudy went on to say,

“And he adds, ‘You’re one of the individuals who’s going to slaughter women.'” You’re going to murder women. “You and your f**king cronies are going to murder women.”

He afterward delivered a statement in which he said that he would not be intimidated by left-wing assaults. He also said that as governor, he would fight for law and order so that New Yorkers may feel protected.

Rudy Giuliani asks that the people vote for his son.

Rudy Giuliani recently visited the New York State Capitol to campaign for his son, urging the media to give Andrew a chance. He said,

“We virtually always succeed when we do it.” Wow, we gave Ronald Reagan a chance. We gave Donald Trump a chance, and he made America better than it had been in the previous 50 years. We gave me a shot.”

Andrew sent his father to different sections of upstate New York to deliver a message to his constituents. Rudy has been driving about in a minivan and is being met by reporters. Andrew’s speech has also been beneficial to the general population as they choose who to vote for.

Andrew is sure to win since his surname has made him one of the most popular among the candidates running in the elections. Since the beginning of the campaign, his father has regularly joined him, increasing his profile over time. During the Trump administration, Andrew served as the President’s special assistant as well as the deputy director of the Office of Public Liaison.
