Both of her parents are successful in their own right, but they divorced when Sarah was ten years old.

Aside from that, Sarah has a close relationship with her siblings, and she spent her childhood with her older brother Cyrus, who is in the military, and a younger sister named Samantha. Her sister works as a production assistant. Her ancestors are of mixed race (Iranian & Spanish).

On February 7, 2009, the stunning actress married actor Steve Howey in a lavish wedding ceremony in Las Vegas. In the same year, they welcomed their first child, a son, in July 2009. Six years later, in January of 2015, Sarah and Steve announced that they are expecting twins. Shahi gave birth to a daughter and a son in March.

Unfortunately, the couple filed for divorce in May 2020, and their divorce was finalized in January 2021. Despite the fact that they have yet to reveal the reason for their separation.

According to recent reports, the actress is dating Australian actor Adam Demos, whom she met while filming Sex/Life. The two first met in the make-up trailer and discussed their common interests. Shahi, on the other hand, was blown away by him.

Career

She used to play various roles in dramas and work as an extra while in college; this was the time when her career took a massive turn for the better; luckily, she met director Robert Altman on the set of Dr. T and the Women in Texas. Robert advised her to pursue a career in Hollywood. She appeared in films such as Alias, Dawson’s Creek, Reba, and Supernatural.

Many people admired her skills and appearance, and she quickly began receiving large projects. In the film The L Word, she played the supporting character of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales in 2005.

Life as homicide detective Dani Reese was her first lead role in a TV series in 2007. She shared the screen with Damian Lewis. In the year 2009, she appeared in the film USA Network. She also appeared in major films such as Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, For Your Consideration, I Don’t Know How She Does It, Maybe It’s Me, Dawson’s Creek, The Sopranos, and others.

With her growing success, she was able to take on additional projects such as modeling and endorsing for a variety of brands and companies such as Elle, Rogue, Style, and others.
