Scott Oliver Hall, better known by his stage name Razor Ramon, was born in St. Mary’s County, Maryland, in the United States of America on 20 October 1958. He was 63 years old and a United States citizen at the time of his death. Additionally, he was a Christian by faith and was born under the zodiac sign of Libra. He was the son of an army officer. As a result, the family was forced to relocate each year. Apart from this, no further information about his parents or siblings is available.

In terms of academics, he attended Munich’s ‘All American High’ school. His family subsequently relocated to the United States, where he got a pre-medical degree from ‘St. Mary’s College’ in Maryland. By the time he finished college, he had developed an interest in wrestling and had begun training for it.

Death

In March 2022, he shattered his hip and needed hip replacement surgery. Following the surgery, a blood clot was dislodged, and he suffered three heart attacks as a result. He died on March 14, 2022, at the age of 63, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.

Career

He began his professional wrestling career in 1984 in South Carolina and then performed for the NWA in the CWF (Championship Wrestling Florida) (National Wrestling Alliance). In 1985, the AWA (American Wrestling Association) took note of him and signed him to their league. He competed in the NJPW (New Japan Pro-Wrestling) league in 1987. He left AWA in 1989 to join NWA, only a year before the company went bankrupt.

In June of the same year, he appeared in a vignette and a house show as part of the NWA’s new initiative to cultivate young talent. He made his professional wrestling debut in July with WCW. In 1990, he attempted but failed to partake in a WWF Wrestling Challenge. He then re-enlisted with the NJPW.

Additionally, he competed in Germany’s CWA’s ‘Catch Cup 90’ league under the moniker ‘Texas Scott.’ In 1991, he was a member of the WCW’s Puerto Rico promotion. In April of that year, he returned to WCW as ‘The Diamond Studd.’
