Selena Gomez Is Launching A Mental Health Brand Called “Wondermind”

Selena Gomez talked out about her mental health and her long absence from social media. In an interview with Good Morning America, the Wizards of Waverly Place actor discussed her four-and-a-half-year hiatus from social media and the internet and how it “totally” impacted her life.

“I am happier, more present, and more social. It reassures me. I recognize the Internet’s immense power and how it has benefited the globe. But I receive crucial news from individuals in my life.”

Her bipolar illness diagnosis also aided her in some manner. “The nicest thing” is that Gomez began forming a connection with herself once she stepped away.

Wondermind is Selena Gomez’s new platform.

Selena Gomez revealed to GMA that she is co-founding Wondermind with her mother, Mandy Teefey, and businesswoman Daniella Pierson. The platform strives to normalize talking about mental illnesses that manifest differently in various people.

One of the world’s top therapists and psychiatrists will serve on a Wondermind expert council. With her personal issues with mental health, Selena Gomez created the platform.

“Growing up in the limelight taught me so much. I can’t believe I’m where I am psychological because I made the required measures to get away from it. It’s just not normal.”

She went on to describe how she wants to be renowned for her compassion.

“It would be nice to have something like Wondermind, even if it took me a minute to get into it. And it is really comforting.”

In 2020, Gomez announced to Miley Cyrus through Instagram Live that she had a bipolar illness. Selena Gomez previously said that lupus caused her anxiety, panic attacks, and sadness.
