Career
Soipan Tuya joined the Mainyoito Pastoralist Integrated Development Organization as a Legal Advisor in 2004. Working as a Legal Advisor, she was promoted to Legal Officer at the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs. She was elected to the Kenya National Assembly representing Narok County in 2013. She is presently the Cabinet Secretary at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Tuya has vowed to devote her whole life to serving the people of Kenya. She has assured them that she would devote every second of her life to the improvement of Kenya’s environment. She is eternally grateful to the people of Narok County for bestowing such awards on her.
