Sylvie Gatrill died on February 17th, at the age of 70. The actress, best known for her role in the BBC drama The Responder, died after a lengthy battle with illness. Tony Schumacher, the author of The Responder, was among many who paid homage to her on social media. He penned,

“I was saddened to learn of the death of the talented Sylvie Gatrill. Such a fantastic performer who was instrumental in setting the tone for #TheResponder. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family. #RIP.”

The career of Sylvie Gatrill in the entertainment sector

Her birth date is uncertain. However, she was born in Bootle, England. She made her debut at a young age and starred in various films throughout her career. In addition to her acting profession, she ran Allstars Casting, a training, and talent agency. It was in charge of teaching singing and acting to children at Dolphin Dance Studios. Sylvie has directed in-house productions for Regal Entertainments at the St Helens Theatre Royal and the Epstein Theatre in recent years.
