Taylor Swift Has Put Her Childhood House On The Market For $1.1 Million

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has drawn inspiration from her Christmas Tree Farm to her Cornelia Street home. However, the mansion itself was the inspiration for many songs written by pop artists. Her childhood home in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, is where she allegedly wrote her legendary country singles Love Story and Teardrops On My Guitar. The family house at 78 Grandview Boulevard in Reading, Berks County, was initially advertised for $1.1 million in February. On Friday, the 3,560 square foot home was acquired for $995,000.

Taylor Swift grew up in a stunning Georgian Colonial.

On the edge of Reading, Pennsylvania, Taylor Swift and her family lived for a few years in 1997. Swift resided here till she was 14 before moving to Nashville in 2004 to pursue her musical career. Unique Georgian Colonial house on 0.75 acres with three storeys of grandeur and old-world charm. Because the property has changed ownership many times, the renovations ensured it was modernized throughout.

The 1929 revival-style house has an extravagant entrance hall, a formal dining room with views of the garden, a parlor with a wood-burning fireplace, and a gourmet kitchen. The bedrooms have vaulted ceilings, crown molding, hardwood floors, and separate terraces. The luxury bathrooms include double vanities, and the fifth room might be used for amusement. Taylor Swift’s childhood house has a powder room, wine cellar, heated outdoor pool, hot tub, gated garden, and a huge front yard.

The property’s agent, Eric Miller, shared an insider’s view of living with Taylor Swift:

“I grew up in Wyomissing. Having someone who has achieved as much as she has makes you proud to be from a tiny town with a tight-knit community.”

In 2020, Sydney Redner, a prominent TikToker, resided in the home and filmed her stay. “TAS” on the cement outside, she said, likely standing for “Taylor Alison Swift.” Given Taylor Swift’s tight connection with her fans and Swifties’ dedication to her, it’s no wonder that the residence is often crowded.

Redner said

“Many admirers take photographs outside our home. I think there are more during the holidays, when people come from other states to view it. There are more admirers if Taylor Swift performs in Philadelphia or nearby. Photographing our family is OK if done quickly and respectfully.”

Taylor Swift admirers will likely follow the new owner of the mansion, but that is to be anticipated. For most Swifties, taking a photo with Swift at her house is the next best thing to being there in person.
