The Adoptive Parents Who Raised Millionaire Freddie Figgers

Freddie Figgers

While growing up, his parents bought him an old Macintosh computer in order to keep him distracted from the hardships of his childhood. Figgers’ life would be forever changed if he were to receive a small act of kindness. Compared to his current position atop the wealth and success mountain, the entrepreneur’s early years were far from idyllic. As it turned out, he was an orphaned youngster who had to endure years of bullying as a result.

When he was brought up by adoptive parents who tried to distract him from his internal conflicts, he developed a strong desire to help others. It was eventually revealed to be the driving reason for Figgers’ success, as well.

Freddie Figgers’ birth mother abandoned him.

After his birth, the computer programmer was abandoned in a dumpster by his biological mother. He was found by police authorities and taken into foster care. This is where he met his future mother and father. According to Figgers, his adoptive parents were empathetic to his plight and welcomed him in as their own son.

As they approached the age of 70, his parents had no intention of adopting a kid. That’s why they didn’t want me to go through the care system after seeing what I’d been through. Figgers’ classmates tormented him in school after learning that he was an adoptive child and referred to him as a “dumpster baby.” As a child, he said, things like this bothered him. At the age of seven or eight, I was mortified to think about it.

Technology was introduced to him by his parents.

Figgers’ father was concerned about his son and didn’t want him to dwell on the fact that he had been adopted and that he was still a baby. As a result, he purchased a broken Macintosh computer for Figgers in an effort to distract him from the bullying. To keep me out of trouble, my father suggested that I get a computer of my own. It worked, and the aspiring computer expert set to work rebuilding the computer using salvaged parts from an outdated radio. Because of his passion for technology, after seeing the computer, Figgers became a technologist.

When he was just 12 years old, he was recruited to fix computers! Not only that, but he had already established his own business by the time he was 15. His company’s popularity grew rapidly, and by the time he was 17, he was servicing 150 clients. Since then, entrepreneurship has developed exponentially. On Instagram, photos of his parents are posted by Figgers on a regular basis. Sadly, his father died in January 2014.
