Thomas James Burris Net Worth 2024

Regarding his net worth, Thomas James Burris’s net worth is about $6 million as of January 2024. We can assume that he shared his wife’s net worth during their brief marriage because his lavish lifestyle caused a substantial financial loss to Karen, as he spent almost all of her money, leaving her with only a few stocks. Karen, however, changed her will before her death to leave everything she owned to her family, so he did not inherit anything.

Thomas James Burris Rise To Fame?

Regarding his early life, parents, and education, there is no information available in the media. It is only known that he spent some time pursuing a business career as a real estate developer, which helped him increase his net worth.

Thomas had already been married and divorced before meeting Karen, with whom he has a son, who was 18 when he married Karen.

Through his marriage to Karen Carpenter, Thomas James Burris achieved a measure of fame – some would say notoriety. In 1980, the two met at a dinner at Ma Maison restaurant and began dating and married the same year in the Crystal Room of the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on August 31, 1980.

As a result, Karen’s marriage was a huge mistake because they couldn’t have children – she didn’t know that her (future) husband Thomas couldn’t provide her with children because he had undergone a vasectomy until just days before the two married. She was deeply moved and stunned because she desperately wanted to be a mother. At the same time, he appears to have been cruel to her, referring to her as a “bag of bones.” So it wasn’t long before she decided to file for divorce. All of their relationship problems led to Karen’s death, as she developed anorexia, an eating disorder that caused numerous complications in her body, including heart failure. She was unable to recover and died on February 4, 1983, in Downey, California, while they were finalizing their divorce.
