Lawson’s brothers, Warden and Jackson Bates, fashioned a 9-foot wooden cross for the altar, which the wedding party walked down. Lawson and his friends and brothers were waiting on the opposite side, dressed in black suit trousers and white dress shirts with the sleeves pulled up. The ring bearers were Bates’ nephews, Bradley Bates and Carson Paine, while the flower girls were the groom’s nieces Kaci and Khloe Bates. Following the ceremony, the couple danced to the 60s classic Everlasting Love.
