Randy Gonzalez revealed on TikTok he is Diagnosed With Colon Cancer

On April 14, 2022, the TikTok star took to his account to reveal health news. Gonzalez revealed to his followers six months ago that he had been diagnosed with stage four colon cancer.

“I have an announcement to make, and it’s not good,” Gonzalez stated at the beginning of the video.

“I don’t know how to say it, but six months ago I was diagnosed with stage four cancer, colon cancer, I kept it to myself, and I felt selfish because I didn’t want to tell everyone about my personal business.”

“However, I believe that I can use my situation to raise awareness for young men like myself,” he said.

According to the American Cancer Society, the risk of developing colon cancer is about 1 in 23 (4.3 percent) for men and 1 in 25 (4.0 percent) for women. Gonzalez stated that he felt compelled to share his diagnosis after more fans commented on his weight loss.

“The doctor said I had two or three years to live, and he said with chemo, I have five years,” Gonzalez explained. “And I didn’t know what to make of it.

It was a disaster.”
