Tom Pearson Was Fired From The Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Bravo Program

Tom Pearson

The newest episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 revealed what the previous episode’s drama hinted at. In addition to being dismissed from the boat, Tom Pearson was also sacked from the Bravo program. Pearson was a deckhand, the yacht’s junior crew member. Captain Glenn Shephard discharged him because of his incompetence, which endangered the lives of everybody on board. In last week’s episode 6, Pearson was on anchor watch when the wind picked up and began tugging the boat.

Pearson had to keep an eye on things, but he soon grasped the wind’s power. Although he was aware of the risk, he chose not to warn Captain Shephard or first mate Gary King. When the crew saw the anchor was dragging, they jumped in to prevent any mishaps.

Tom Pearson enraged Captain Glenn Shephard.

Captain Shephard was enraged with Pearson but remained cool and relieved him of all significant tasks. According to the skipper in Below Deck Sailing Yacht episode 7 on April 4, Pearson was relaxed and did not feel sorry for his actions.

His deckhand was then gently requested to depart. Capt. Shephard:

“I don’t see how you could miss being on anchor watch. It defies logic. Anchor watch exists solely to prevent this.”

He went on:

“And I’m sorry, and I’m not happy about it, but I have to let you go. “I’m stuck.”

Pearson kept interrupting him. Shephard said Pearson’s head was not in his work and “may still cause damage.” Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast member apologized to Shephard and said farewell.

On Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Tom Pearson became a fan favorite. He irritated viewers because of his friendship with Ashley Marti. Pearson apologized on Instagram after episode 7 and explained the problem in detail. Text:

“First, let me state that I fully accept responsibility for what transpired. That night, I blame no one but myself. My first reaction was denial, not wanting to consider the idea of causing a really terrible situation.”

The post stated:

My apologies are serious to the crew, and to the guests, we had aboard, I know I stated it at the time, but you deserved more from me that night. Colin MacRae, Daisy Kelliher, Gabriela Barragan, and Ashley Marti all commented on Pearson’s Instagram post.
