TREASURE’s B-Side Single DARARI Is Taking Over The Internet And Spotify

TREASURE's B-side

TREASURE made its long-awaited reappearance with The Second Step: Chapter One a month ago, and its B-side track DARARI has already set a record. The song’s melody, lyrics, and mellow sounds have gone viral on social media sites, most notably TikTok. DARARI is the first fourth-generation B-side track to enter Spotify’s Global Top 200 chart, placing #100.

The song is noteworthy for fans because it was co-written by Yedam, Hyunsuk, Yoshi, Haruto, and in-house producers. The song peaked at No. 135 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart. The song’s increasing number of chart appearances and the thousands of videos uploaded under the hashtag #DarariChallege says volumes about the group’s expanding popularity.

TREASURE’s B-side track DARARI gets popular on TikTok, and OT12 joins in on the challenge

On February 15, TREASURE made an explosive reappearance with the debut E.P. The Second Step: Chapter One and title single Jikjin. While the title tune created waves with its visually stunning music video, the group’s B-side track DARARI is gaining traction.

On TikTok, a fish-eye filter with high saturation levels and an adorable, sped-up rendition of DARARI has recently gone viral. The song is about an artist who refers to their sweetheart as a muse. Everyone has participated in the #DarariChallenge, from everyday individuals to celebrities.

TikTok user @Aida devised a simple, groovy dance challenge for the song shortly after it was released. Unbeknownst to her, the dance and challenge went viral on social media platforms, particularly TikTok. Stray Kids’ I.N., ENHYPEN’s Sunoo, Wei’s Yohan, NCT DREAM’s Haechan, Sandara Park, and Somi. Among others, I took part in the challenge.

As fans celebrated the unpromoted song’s success on the charts and on social media. TREASURE surprised them with an OT12 version of the challenge. They used the same fan filter, dance, and music.

The ‘Darari Challenge’ has 1.2 billion views on the video platform TikTok, while the group’s video had 14.6 million views in less than 10 hours.

Fans are ecstatic about the song’s success, especially given that four members contributed to its composition. Furthermore, Yedam is said to have played a more significant part in the song’s development.

Meanwhile, the band is preparing for its first-ever concert, which will take place on April 9 and 10.
