However, he finished his high school education at DAV Senior Secondary School in Chandigarh. In 2011, he transferred to Chandigarh DAV School, which is well-known for its high-level cricket program.

Vaibhav was not receiving many chances while practicing at Chandigarh University for the Punjab U-19 squad, so he opted to join the Himachal Pradesh team. By joining the HP squad at the age of 21, he was given the opportunity to make his FC (First Class) debut in the 2019-2020 Ranji Trophy on December 9, 2019. Throughout his Ranji Tournament, he managed to acquire 30 wickets. Then, in the 2020-2021 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he makes his debut for his Himachal Pradesh squad in his maiden T-20 encounter.
During his Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy campaign, he took 10 wickets. Then, in 2022, Vaibhav Arora’s stellar career statistics cement his inclusion in the IPL auction, with a starting bid of 20 lakh INR.
