Von Miller was drafted in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft and is considered one of the best three outside linebackers in the draft. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in July 2011 and signed a contract with the organization shortly after. He made his professional debut for the club against the Oakland Raiders in September 2011. He was named the Associated Press Defensive Rookie of the Year and was selected to the 2012 Pro Bowl. To begin the 2012 season, he had 10 sacks in nine games.
