Arnold’s inspirational success story of turning a dream become a reality
Arnold grew up in an impoverished Catholic family in Austria and dreamed of doing something larger and better in life. When he was 11 years old, he watched a video on America and decided he wanted to go there, but he wasn’t sure what route would take him there. He discovered his precise objective after reading an article on Reg Park, an English bodybuilder, actor, and businessman. It became a source of motivation for him since he aspired to be precisely like him.
He got so motivated to become a bodybuilder and transition into a film profession that he began working long and hard days and nights to achieve the American dream. His life aim led to his dream becoming a reality and many other things. On the 5th of October, 1945, in Murzsteg, Steiermark, Austria, Aurelia, a war widow, married a local police chief and a former military commander, Gustav Schwarzenegger. She dedicated herself to becoming a housewife after her marriage. She stayed in wedded bliss till her husband died.
The cause of death
Her spouse died on December 13, 1972. He died of a stroke at 65 in Weiz, Steiermark, Austria. He was laid to rest at Weiz Cemetery.
Favoritism between her two children is extreme.
In an interview, Arnold said that he and his older brother, Reinhard, used to be treated with excessive partiality. His father favored his sibling above him and was cruel to him. In the mistrust of his sexuality, he even beat him with a belt. Despite his hard effort, Arnold claims that he never received praises. Before his father died, he became alienated from him and did not attend his burial.
On the plus side, it lit a fire in his belly, motivating him to work hard. His older brother died in a vehicle accident when he was 23. On May 20, 1971, he died due to drunk driving. Arnold, like his father, did not have a good connection with his brother. Therefore, he missed his brother’s burial as well.
Her spouse was suspected of having Nazi ties.
Her husband served in the military for seven years, from 1930 to 1937. In 1990, rumors of his Nazi connections spread, prompting Arnold to go into his history to learn the full extent of the truth. For the inquiry, he enlisted the help of acquaintances from the Simon Wiesenthal Center. They discovered after a two-month inquiry that he had sought for membership in 1938, but there was no proof of his war crime. Later, it was found that he was a member of the Sturmabteilung, also known as the Brown Shirts, but his actions were unknown, making a judgment impossible.
Arnold’s poverty and lack of luxury fueled his desire for achievement. He pursued his goal and worked tirelessly till he realized it. He arrived in America with little money, but he is now living his dream. His drive and will to achieve has propelled him from world number one bodybuilder to Hollywood heartthrob to California’s 38th Governor. Aurelia Jadrny Schwarzenegger’s net worth is about $2 million as of January 2023.
