On Monday, September 26, 2022, NBC’s The Voice Season 22 premiered a brand-new episode. Coaches Blake Shelton, John Legend, Camila Cabello, and Gwen Stefani are presently battling for the greatest singer to join their squad in blind auditions. Viewers have seen a number of competitors perform since the launch of the popular reality TV series last week.

Many of those candidates wowed the judges and got at least one chair turn, landing them a position on The Voice. Ava Lynn Thuresson, a California native, is one such contender. The 18-year-old hit the stage and astonished the judges with her flawless performance of Britney Spear’s popular song, Baby One More Time. She made her own grunge rendition of an all-time pop classic. John Legend hit his button and turned for the competitor only minutes after her performance. Camila Cabello also turned her chair towards The Voice Season 22 contestant at the finish of her performance. Gwen Stefani expressed her admiration for Ava’s grunge style and expressed remorse that she did not turn in time for her. Despite John’s attempts to get Ava Lynn to join his squad, she eventually picked Camila as her coach for the remainder of the season.
