Who Is Dakota Johnson? Everything You Need To Know About Her

Dakota Johnson

Dakota Johnson is reportedly in discussions to feature in Sony’s Madame Web. Madame Web is a new character in the Marvel universe, and she will supposedly receive her own show soon. Johnson’s contract has not yet been finalized, but she may be cast as the lead in the S.J. Clarkson-directed film written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.

Who is Dakota Johnson?

Dakota Johnson was born on October 4, 1989. She is an American actress, producer, and model. She is 32 years old right now. Dakota Johnson made her debut in the action-comedy picture 21 Jump Street (2012) as a supporting actress, and then went on to appear in the indie comedy Goats (2012) and the romantic comedy The Five-Year Engagement (2013). She is best recognized for her role as Anastasia Steele in the sexual romantic drama film series Fifty Shades of Grey (2015–2018). Johnson was also nominated for a BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2016.

Dakota Johnson

Dakota Johnson shot to stardom after starring in and producing two films at the just-finished Sundance Film Festival, Cha Cha Real Smooth and Am I Ok? Cha Cha Real Smooth, which won the festival’s Audience Award in the U.S. Dramatic category, was sold to Apple for a whopping $15 million. The Disappeared Daughter Johnson may now be seen in Netflix’s The Lost Daughter and will next be featured in Persuasion.

What makes Dakota Johnson’s casting as Madame Web so contentious?

Madame Web, also known as Cassandra Webb, is an old lady suffering from a neurological muscular ailment that requires her to be attached to a life support system like a spider’s web. In Marvel comics, she is generally a supporting character. Denny O’Neil and John Romita Jr. invented the character.

Sony has picked up the contract for its first female-led comic book adaptation, and Johnson is allegedly being sought to play the part.
Johnson’s casting as a blind and crippled lady has sparked outrage on the internet. Dakota is clearly neither blind or old, thus many MCU fans and people with disabilities are disappointed that an able-bodied actor will be stealing a role away from a handicapped actor once again.
