At the 2017 FIS Snowboard World Championships, Sadowski-Synnott won silver in slopestyle. She participated in the 2018 Winter Olympics for New Zealand in Pyeongchang, South Korea. She earned the bronze medal in the women’s big air, becoming just the second New Zealander to do so, after Annelise Coberger, who won silver in the women’s slalom at the 1992 Winter Olympics.

Sadowski-Synnott won the gold medal in slopestyle and the silver medal in big air at the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado, in January 2019. A month later, she won the slopestyle gold medal at the 2019 FIS Snowboard World Championships. She won the slopestyle event at the US Open in Vail, Colorado, in March 2019, completing the triple crown of the Open title, X Games gold, and World Championship championship. She won the silver medal in slopestyle and the bronze medal in big air at the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado, in January 2021. Two months later, she won the slopestyle gold medal at the 2021 FIS Snowboard World Championships.

Sadowski-Synnott won the women’s snowboard slopestyle event at the invite-only Winter Dew Tour at Copper Mountain, Colorado, in December 2021. She finished second in the slopestyle event at the US Grand Prix World Cup event in California, USA, in January 2022. She won gold medals in both the slopestyle and big air events at the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado, in January 2022. She won the gold medal in the slopestyle event at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics on February 6, 2022.
